Grabba - Leaf allegedly infringed Blunt Wrap U.S.A.'s cigar tube patent

MIAMI — A Louisiana corporation has filed suit against a competitor for alleged patent infringement.

Blunt Wrap U.S.A. Inc. filed a complaint Sept. 28 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Grabba - Leaf LLC, alleging that the Florida company infringed the plaintiff's patents by distributing infringing products such as their cigar tubes.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Blunt Wrap U.S.A. Inc. suffered damages from having their patent infringed. The plaintiff holds Grabba - Leaf LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly distributes cigar tubes, which infringes one or more claims of the plaintiff's patents.

The plaintiff seeks damages, lost profits, royalty, increase damages up to three times the amount assessed and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Michael S.
