Pinellas County resident alleged to have defaulted on student loans

TAMPA – The federal government alleges a Pinellas County resident owes more than $50,000 for student loans.

United States of America, on behalf of the U.S. Department of Education, filed a complaint on Sept. 26 in the Tampa Division of the Middle District of Florida against Heather C. Bauduin alleging that she failed to settle her debt with plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Bauduin failed to pay the principal amount of her debt with plaintiff plus interest.

The plaintiff seeks principal amount of $30,319.10 plus interest of $24,457.39, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. It is represented by Steven M. Davis of Becker & Poliakoff PA in Coral Gables.
