MIAMI – A Palm Beach County retailer is accused of counterfeit copies of a brand of water pipes.
Sream Inc. filed a complaint on Sept. 26 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against K and R of WPB Inc. alleging trademark infringement and other counts.
According to the complaint, Sream Inc. is the exclusive licensee of RooR glass water pipes. The plaintiff holds K and R of WPB Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly sells counterfeit products bearing the RooR mark, which could cause confusion among consumers.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant for damages, injunctive relief, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Jamie Alan Sasson of The Ticktin Law Group PLLC in Deerfield Beach.
