MIAMI — A man has filed suit against his former employer for allegedly failing to pay minimum wage.
Rodolfo Diaz filed a complaint Sept. 5 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against U.S. Alliance Management Corp., doing business as U.S. Security, Baron Sedaghat and Bey Sedaghat, alleging that they violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was employed by the defendants as a security guard, but was never compensated for his legally-entitled wages for his entire employment. The plaintiff holds U.S. Alliance Management Corp., Baron Sedaghat and Bey Sedaghat responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff for his entire period of employment and failed to pay the plaintiff the full and proper minimum wages.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants, costs, attorneys’ fees and such other remedy as the court deems just. He is represented by Elliot Kozolchyk of Koz Law PA in Fort Lauderdale.
