MIAMI — A couple has filed suit against a cruise line for allegedly failing to keep the floor dry, which supposedly resulted in a passenger being injured.
Anna Sasoni and Michael Sasoni filed a complaint Sept. 8 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Miami Division, against Royal Caribbean Cruises LTD, alleging that the cruise ship company failed to properly maintain the floor of its vessel.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Sept. 14, 2015, Anna Sasoni suffered physical injuries from slipping and falling due to a wet, slippery surface. The plaintiffs hold Royal Caribbean Cruises LTD. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep the floor of its vessel dry.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant for damages. They are represented by David H. Charlip of Charlip Law Group LC in North Miami.
