U.S. government alleges man owes more than $100,000 for student loan

TAMPA – A Hillsbourgh County man is alleged to have defaulted on a student loan that was issued in 1994.

The United States of America filed a formal complaint against Antonio Raymond Arnao on Sept. 1 in the Tampa Division of the Middle District of Florida, alleging failure to pay.

 

The plaintiff claims the defendant owes it $101,993.05; $36,932.14 comes from the principal capital and $65,060.91 comes from current capitalized interest and accrued interest.

The plaintiff is seeking the sums the defendant owes them, attorney’s fees, and such other relief the court deems proper. The plaintiff is represented by Steven M. Davis of Beck & Poliakoff PA from Coral Gables.
