ORLANDO — A former warehouse worker has filed suit against a game manufacturer for allegedly not paying overtime wages.

Ulysses Holmes filed a complaint on Aug. 24 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division, against Custom Cornhole Boards Inc., alleging that the employer failed to fairly compensate the plaintiff for his work.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in April, he worked for more than 40 hours without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Custom Cornhole Boards Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff any overtime premium for hours worked that exceeded 40 per week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid back wages, liquidated damages, compensatory damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems appropriate. He is represented by Brandon J. Hill of Wenzel Fenton Cabassa P.A. in Tampa.
