Former employee claims he was not paid by previous employers

FORT MYERS — A former employee has filed suit against several businesses, alleging he was never paid for part of the time he spent working for them.

Michael Boles filed a complaint on Aug. 24 in the 20th Judicial Circuit of Florida, Lee County, against Haven Fort Myers, LLC, Haven Hospitality Concepts, LLC, EC Squared, LLC, Chuck Thakkar, Brad Cozza, Niloy Thakkar, and Solani Thakkar, alleging that they failed to fairly compensate him for his work.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked without being paid any wages and/or any wages at the applicable minimum wage. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to properly compensate him by paying for hours worked at the applicable rate.

The plaintiff seeks unpaid minimum wage, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems appropriate. He is represented by C. Ryan Morgan of Morgan & Morgan P.A. in Orlando.
