Law money 04

MIAMI — A former employee has filed suit against his employer, claiming he allegedly wasn't paid overtime.

Craig Jason Hewell filed a complaint on July 22 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Nor-Seg Security Services Inc., alleging that the business failed to fairly compensate him for all of the hours he worked.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Nor-Seg Security Services Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay overtime premium for the plaintiff's working hours that exceeded 40 per week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant plus all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems appropriate. He is represented by Elliot Kozolchyk of Koz Law P.A. in Fort Lauderdale.
