'London Has Fallen' copyright owners allege film was shared online

TAMPA – Copyright owners for a film allege it was illegally shared online by an unknown BitTorrent user.

LHF Productions Inc. filed a complaint on July 28 in the Tampa Division of the Middle District of Florida against John or Jane Doe subscriber assigned internet Protocol address 65.35.162.174 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business as the result of its motion picture "London Has Fallen" being illegally distributed without its consent by the defendant. The plaintiff holds John or Jane Doe subscriber assigned IP address 65.35.162.174 responsible because the defendant allegedly used BitTorrent to distribute plaintiff's motion picture.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks permanently enjoin the defendant, actual and statutory damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Richard E. Fee and Catherine F. Yant of IP Enforcement Law Group PA in Tampa.
