MIAMI – A Michigan resident alleges he was injured while on a cruise on the Norwegian Sun.
Anil Kurian filed a complaint on July 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Miami Division against NCL Bahamas LTD alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 29, 2015, he slipped and fell on a slippery ramp outside the ship's cafeteria, causing physical injuries. The plaintiff holds NCL Bahamas LTD responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide proper warning regarding condition of the ramp.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages. He is represented by Ricardo V. Alsina of Lipcon, Margulies, Alsina & Winkleman PA in Miami.
