Miami Terminal Cold Storage LLC alleged to have not paid overtime

MIAMI – Former employees have filed a suit alleging they are owed unpaid overtime wages.

Walter Humberto Perez Valverde, Walter Alexander Gonzalez Gomez, Manuel De Jesus Lopez Rivera, William Alberto Midence Ordonez, Geronimo Fernando Parrales Chevez filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on July 7, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Miami Terminal Cold Storage LLC, Lee E. Sigler and Deborah M. Sigler alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that between 2007 and 2015, they worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime wages by the defendants. The plaintiffs holds Miami Terminal Cold Storage LLC, Lee E. Sigler and Deborah M. Sigler responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the special half time overtime compensation to plaintiffs for all hours they worked in excess of 40 hours per workweek.

The plaintiffs requests a trial by jury and seeks double damages, all overtime wages still owing, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by J.H. Zidell of J.H. Zidell PA in Miami Beach.
