MIAMI – An Indiana woman claims a cruise ship company's negligence caused her to fall.
Pamela Millsap filed a complaint on June 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Carnival Corp. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 27, she sustained injuries as a result of falling while on the Carnival Valor cruise ship. The plaintiff holds Carnival Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide a safe way for the plaintiff to board the ship and made a ramp on the boarding area too steep for her to walk with a walker.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for more than $75,000 and all legal fees. She is represented by David W. Singer of David W. Singer & Associates PA in Hollywood.
