TALLAHASSEE – Attorney Robert N. Clark Jr. of Ausley McMullen has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer for the 10th year.

Other attorneys at the Tallahassee firm named to the list, which awards the top lawyers in the state, include Mike Glazer, Doug Kilby and Jeff Wahlen.

“I would call it just trying to do good work on a daily basis and working to be as professional as possible each day,” Clark told the Florida Record. “I feel honored to be recognized by my peers as being a good lawyer. It makes you want to live up to that standard and for that reason makes you a better lawyer."

Clark is board certified in business litigation by The Florida Bar and specializes in civil litigation. He serves as trial counsel in a variety of cases involving commercial business disputes, significant personal injury and wrongful death claims, class actions other litigation and regulatory matters.

Beyond practicing at Ausley McMullen, Clark is an adjunct professor of law at the Florida State University College of Law. He teaches Florida civil procedure and trial practice at the university. He also was chair of the 2nd Judicial Circuit Nominating Committee and has previously served as chair of The Florida Bar civil procedure. He has been recognized as a Florida Trends Legal Elite and The Best Lawyers in America.

With several lawyers at Ausley McMullen being named to the list, Clark attributes this to their community relationships.

“We have a lot of good lawyers. We have lawyers that are known in the community and around the state. I think they just get out of their office and get involved with the community and bar activities. I think they’re pretty well-known and I think that helps get them recognized for being good lawyers.”

His expertise lies in administrative and governmental law with an emphasis on health care matters.

Kilby is a shareholder with Ausley McMullen. He specializes in business litigation, antitrust and consumer protection law, emphasizing on attorney general office matters.
