Shipping and Transit LLC accuses Texas company of patent infringement

MIAMI – A Boynton Beach company claims a Flowermound, Texas company infringed patents it owns.

Shipping and Transit LLC filed a complaint on May 31 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Skyline Vapor Lounge LLC alleging patent infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to it business as a result of several of its patents being infringed regarding shipping and delivery. The plaintiff holds Skyline Vapor Lounge LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly infringed plaintiff's patents with its use of the technologies within its advance ship notice and shipping confirmation emails.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages against the defendant to compensate it including interest, increased damages, permanent injunction, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Jason P. Dollard of Leslie Robert Evans & Associates in Palm Beach.
