MIAMI – A government agency is suing a Broward County resident, citing alleged default in payment on a loan.

United States of America filed a complaint on May 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Jayson A. Gittens alleging failure to comply with the terms of their agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that has suffered damages for not collecting payment in the amount of $1,931.78 from Gittens.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for all administrative costs, plus interest through date of payment, attorneys' fees as allowed by law and for such other relief which the court deems proper. It is represented by Steven M. Davis of Becker & Poliakoff PA in Coral Gables.
