Company alleges Virtual Office News owes money, breached contract

Contract 03

MIAMI – An Atlanta, Georgia company and its owner allege they were not paid the profits promised after co-producing a conference.

William Winterberg and Winterberg Advisory Group LLC filed a complaint on May 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Joel Bruckenstein of Miramar and Virtual Office News LLC, doing business as Technology Tools for Today, alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they did not receive the 50 percent share of the net profits from co-producing a conference and have suffered damages in an amount to be proven at trial. The plaintiffs hold Bruckenstein and Virtual Office News LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly refused to provide proper accounting, failed to perform their obligations under the 2015 agreement and failed to provide plaintiffs' 50 percent of the net profits.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendants, jointly and severally, for compensatory damages, punitive damages, interest and costs and for any other relief that the court deems just and proper. They are represented by Brian E. Dickerson of FisherBroyles LLP in Naples.
