JACKSONVILLE – A Jacksonville corporation is suing two Illinois residents and a business alleging breach of contract.
Pinnacle Insurance and Financial Services LLC filed a complaint on May 4 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division against Norman R. Sehnoutka Jr., Deborah Hersey and Financial Strategies Group LLP alleging that they allegedly failed to comply with the terms of their agreement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff and Sehnoutka Jr. were in a contract that the plaintiff terminated in December 2015. The plaintiff holds Sehnoutka Jr., his agent Hersey and Financial Strategies Group LLP responsible because Sehnoutka allegedly failed to return to all proprietary information without keeping any copy thereof per the agreement, failed to refrain from disseminating proprietary information, failed to immediately discontinue the use of any property, facilities, or services that Pinnacle provided and failed to discontinue representing himself to others as an independent contractor or agent of Pinnacle.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for damages, interest, and legal fees, plus other relief as the court might determine is appropriate. It is represented by Mark G. Alexander and Kelly DeGance of Alexander DeGance Barnett PA in Jacksonville.
