Government seeks repayment of loan allegedly in default

Late 01

MIAMI – An Opa-locka resident has allegedly defaulted on a loan.

United States of America filed a complaint on April 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Sharon Duhart, citing failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant owes a debt in the total amount of $9,050.78. The plaintiff holds Duhart responsible because the defendant allegedly has neglected and refused to pay her indebtedness.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks payment for the sums of money totaling $9,050.78, prejudgment and post-judgment interest, attorney's fees and for such other relief which the court may deem proper. It is represented by Jennifer Margolis Marquez of Newman & Marquez PA in Coral Gables.
