Legend of the Seas passenger alleges negligence caused injury

MIAMI – A Legend of the Seas passenger is suing the ship's operator over allegations she was injured aboard the cruise ship.

Teresa Rodriguez filed a complaint on April 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Royal Caribbean Cruise Limited, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 18, 2015, she slipped and fell onto the floor due to a slippery and dangerous condition upon the floor of the shower area within her cabin after it had been cleaned. As a result, she suffered injuries to her body and extremities, the suit states.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensation for damages suffered. She is represented by Michael P. Weisberg of Michael P Weisberg Law Offices in Miami.
