MIAMI – A sports accessories distributor alleges that a United Kingdom corporation interfered with its business relationships in U.S. territory.
Multisports USA filed a suit on March 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Miami Division against The Hut Group LTD, doing business as ProBikeKit, citing unjust enrichment.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages, including the termination of its contract with Compressport, because of the defendant's actions. The plaintiff holds The Hut Group LTD responsible because the defendant allegedly offered substantial online discounts, utilized false classifications on the importation of compression products and established the website ProBikeKitUSA to mislead customers that it was a United States-based company
The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for all damages; and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper. It is represented by Santiago A. Cueto of Cueto Law Group PL in Coral Gables.
