Man alleges he was injured in collison with USPS employee

TAMPA – A man has filed a suit against the U.S. Postal Service over alleged damages from an auto accident with an employee.

Clayton Hamilton Catrett filed a complaint on March 14 in the Tampa Division of the Middle District of Florida against United States of America, citing alleged negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 20, 2014, he suffered bodily injury during a collision with the vehicle of U.S. Postal Service employee Sandra Ann Rau. The plaintiff holds United States of America responsible because the defendant's employee allegedly negligently operated or maintained the vehicle, which caused the plaintiff bodily injury.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for damages against defendant. He is represented by Bradford L. Stewart of Frost Van Den Boom PA in Bartow.
