MIAMI – Two employees are suing two restaurants and their manager over claims of unpaid wages.

Christopher Doukakis and John Psomopoulos filed a complaint on Feb. 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Gyromania LLC, Gyromania 4 LLC and Panagiotis Alexopoulos, restaurant manager, citing violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they did not receive the minimum wage, overtime wages and other compensations. They hold the defendants responsible because they allegedly refused to pay wages owed or other form of compensation.

Psomopoulos seeks $51,545.76 plus interests and costs, and both plaintiffs seek compensation for unpaid wages due them, liquidated damages plus interests, attorney’s fees and costs. They are represented by Don R. Boswell of Akers & Boswell PA in West Palm Beach.
