Florida wristwatch maker sued over trademark allegations

MIAMI — An Indiana company and two company officers who are Tennessee residents are suing a Florida wristwatch manufacturer for alleged trademark infringement.

Elf Cocoon LLC, Ilonka Harezi and Courtland Reeves are suing Philip Stein Holding Inc., PStein Inc., Wilhelm Stein and Rina Stein, claiming unfair competition.

The suit was filed on Feb. 17 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Miami Division, alleging violation of the federal Lanham Act and Florida law by the defendants.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs alleges that they suffered monetary damages and dilution of the reputation and value of their trademark.

The plaintiffs seek the following: compensation for damages, interest, attorney’s fees and costs and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper. They are represented by Michael J. Schlesinger and Robert Jimenez of Schlesinger & Associates, P.A. in Miami.
