Kimberly Flores De La Cruz sues Maria Helen Noonan and Dennis Joseph Noonan Jr for damages exceeding $50,001 due to alleged negligence

In the 6th Judicial Circuit for Pinellas County, Florida, Kimberly Flores De La Cruz, as parent and legal guardian of Luis Emiliano Flores De La Cruz, has filed a lawsuit against Maria Helen Noonan and Dennis Joseph Noonan Jr. The case number is 24-001517-CI and was filed on April 4, 2024. The plaintiff alleges negligence and vicarious liability resulting in damages exceeding $50,001.00.

The complaint states that on September 18, 2023, a motor vehicle owned by Dennis Joseph Noonan Jr. was negligently operated by Maria Helen Noonan near SR-590 and Lawrence Dr., Clearwater, FL causing an accident. The plaintiff's minor child was traveling in the vehicle at the time of the accident.

As a direct result of this alleged negligence, the plaintiff claims that her minor child suffered bodily injuries leading to pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish among other losses. The complaint further asserts that these losses are either permanent or continuing and will be suffered in the future.

Kimberly Flores De La Cruz seeks judgment for damages exceeding $50,001.00 exclusive of interest, costs and attorney’s fees from both defendants for their alleged negligence and vicarious liability.
