Shalanda Powell sues Publix Super Markets for slip and fall incident

In the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, Shalanda Powell has filed a lawsuit against Publix Super Markets, Inc., also known as Publix Super Market at LaBelle Plaza. The case, identified as number 24-001615-CI, was filed on April 10, 2024. The complaint arises from a slip and fall incident that occurred on August 30, 2023.

Represented by her counsel, Powell alleges that she suffered significant injuries and damages after slipping and falling on a transitory foreign substance in or near the produce section of the store.
