Tomasz Luszczewski sues Jeffery Eugene Jacobs and Marine Max for negligence leading to personal injury

Tomasz Luszczewski has filed a lawsuit against Jeffery Eugene Jacobs and Marine Max, Inc. in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Pinellas County, Florida. The case ID is 24-001499-CI and it was filed on April 3, 2024. The plaintiff alleges negligence leading to personal injury and is demanding a jury trial.

The plaintiff's lawyer argues that on January 19, 2024, while Luszczewski was lawfully operating his vehicle on Interstate 75 westbound in Collier County, Florida, Jacobs crashed into the rear of his vehicle causing significant injuries. At the time of the accident, Jacobs was operating a heavy truck owned by Marine Max, Inc., his employer.

The damages sought exceed $50,000 exclusive of costs, interest and attorney's fees. The plaintiff claims permanent personal injuries, pain and suffering both past and future, mental anguish, physical limitations and impairments among other damages.

Luszczewski is seeking judgment against Jacobs for all damages and relief afforded by Florida law including all costs, interest, pre-judgment interest, post-judgment interest. He also demands a trial by jury on all issues.
