A woman says she was the victim of discrimination because she has long COVID.
Dionne Van Druff filed her lawsuit in federal court against MCRT Resources LLC and Mill Creek Residential Trust LLC.
According to the complaint, Van Druff was employed by MCRT Resources for more than a decade as Vice President of Property Operations, Southeast. She says she contracted COVID-19 during a company Town Hall meeting in Nashville in March 2020. She says the defendants failed to accommodate her health condition and discriminated against her because of it.
Van Druff is seeking compensatory damages.
