Joseph Gregory Myers has filed a lawsuit against multiple defendants, including an individual and several business entities, alleging negligence that resulted in his serious injury. The complaint was filed on December 31, 2024, in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida. The defendants named in the case are Suzanne Dudas, Nourishing Food for Thought Inc., Jupiter Creamery LLC, and Healthy 4 U Nursery LLC.

The case centers around an incident that occurred on November 9, 2024, at a farmers' market located at 18591 131st Trail North in Jupiter, Florida. Joseph Gregory Myers claims he was injured when an unsecured vendor tent broke loose and struck him while he was lawfully present as an invitee on the premises operated by the defendants. According to the complaint, Suzanne Dudas owned and managed the property where the market took place and is accused of failing to maintain safe conditions for visitors. The plaintiff asserts that Dudas had actual or constructive knowledge of prior similar incidents and failed to warn invitees like Myers about potential hazards.

Nourishing Food for Thought Inc., doing business as Jupiter Creamery, is also accused of negligence for not securing their vendor tents properly despite being aware of potential risks. Similarly, Jupiter Creamery LLC and Healthy 4 U Nursery LLC are implicated for their roles in managing and operating vendor spaces at the market without adequate safety measures. Myers contends that all defendants breached their duty of care by allowing hazardous conditions to persist on their premises.

Myers seeks compensatory damages exceeding $50,000 from each defendant for his injuries which include pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life, lost wages and earning capacity, medical expenses, and aggravation of pre-existing conditions. He demands a jury trial to resolve these issues.

The attorneys representing Joseph Gregory Myers are Daniel D. Britto and Blaze J. Walsh from Britto & Herman Injury Lawyers based in Jupiter, Florida. The Case Number is: 502024CA012337XXXAMB Div: AF.
