Pamela Hukka has filed a lawsuit in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, against Equestrian Show Holdings LLC, Global Dressage Festival LLC, and Great American Assurance Company. The complaint was electronically filed on December 31, 2024. The case revolves around an incident that occurred on February 26, 2023, when Hukka was injured due to an explosion at a vendor station while attending events organized by the defendants.

According to the complaint, Pamela Hukka accuses Equestrian Show Holdings LLC (referred to as "Equestrian") and Global Dressage Festival LLC ("Global") of multiple counts of negligence related to their hiring, retention, training, and supervision practices concerning vendors at their events. The plaintiff alleges that both companies failed in their duty to ensure vendors were fit for their roles and capable of maintaining safe stations. This alleged negligence led to a vendor station explosion that caused Hukka severe injuries. The complaint states that these injuries resulted in "pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement," among other damages. Furthermore, Hukka claims that Great American Assurance Company ("GAAC"), which provided liability insurance coverage for Equestrian and Global, has not fulfilled its obligations under the policy's Medpay provision.

Hukka seeks judgment against Equestrian and Global for amounts exceeding $50,000 each for various negligence-related counts. These include negligent retention and hiring of vendors unfit for service; failure to train staff adequately; failure to supervise staff properly; and general negligence in providing a safe environment at events. Additionally, she demands judgment against GAAC for medical expenses incurred due to her injuries under the insurance policy's Medpay clause.

Representing Pamela Hukka is Ian Bressler from Ian Bressler Law P.A., located in Lake Worth, Florida. The case ID is: 502024CA012322XXXAMB Div: AA.
