In a dramatic legal showdown, a Florida woman has filed a lawsuit against a well-known convenience store chain, alleging assault by one of its employees. The complaint was lodged by Tina Warren in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, on November 22, 2024, targeting Vishnukrupa, LLC, which operates under the brand name 7-11 Stores.

The case stems from an incident that occurred on July 3, 2023, when Tina Warren visited a 7-Eleven store located at 5530 10th St. S., St. Petersburg. According to the complaint, Warren was involved in a dispute over payment with an employee named Myles Jenkins. During this altercation, Jenkins allegedly threw a Big Gulp cup filled with lemonade at Warren's head. Despite there being no visible injuries reported immediately after the incident, Warren claims she experienced pain in her head and neck as a result of the attack.

The legal document details that three other customers witnessed the incident and provided corroborating statements supporting Warren's account. Jenkins was arrested at the scene without any resistance and reportedly made spontaneous admissions to committing battery before choosing not to make any further statements post-Miranda rights reading. Notably, Jenkins has a prior conviction for sexual battery, which elevates this alleged offense to felony status.

Warren's lawsuit accuses Vishnukrupa, LLC and its employee Myles Jenkins of causing her bodily harm and emotional distress through their actions. The plaintiff asserts that she suffered various damages including bodily injury, pain and suffering, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life, diminished earning capacity, medical expenses related to treating her injuries, and aggravation of pre-existing conditions.

Seeking justice for these grievances, Warren demands a jury trial and is pursuing damages exceeding $50,000 plus costs and interest dating back to the incident. Her legal representation is handled by Bryan B. Caulfield from Perenich Caulfield Avril & Noyes P.A., based in Clearwater.

This case is set before Judge Ken Burke under Case Number: 24-005151-CI in Pinellas County's Circuit Court system.
