A passenger on a Celebrity Cruise says she found a piece of nail in her pecan pie.
Dorothea Wingfield filed her complaint in federal court against Celebrity Cruise Lines.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred November 23, 2023, in the dining room located on Level 4 of the Celebrity Reflection cruise ship. Wingfield alleges that upon biting into the pie, she suffered injury to her teeth and jaw. She says she immediately reported the incident to the staff onboard and was subsequently examined and treated by the vessel's medical team.
She seeks compensatory damages.
