A Texas woman says she was injured during a walking tour of Curacao during her cruise vacation.
Carla Wynn filed her complaint in federal court against Norwegian Cruise Lines (Bahamas) Ltd., also known as NCL, and Global Cruises LLC.
According to the complaint, Wynn was a passenger on the cruise ship Norwegian Jewel, owned and operated by NCL. She paid for an excursion in Curacao known as "Best of Willemstad Walking Tour."
The plaintiff alleges the injuries had the potential to impact maritime commerce as shore excursions are part of the cruise experience and regularly sold by cruise lines aboard their ships.
She seeks compensatory damages for her injuries.
