Lynn Lamberson sues Payton Stockman for automobile collision damages

In the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, Lynn Lamberson and her minor child Journey Lamberson have filed a lawsuit against Payton Stockman and Susan Stockman. The case, bearing the number 24-000995-ClI, was filed on March 1, 2024. The plaintiffs are seeking damages exceeding $50,000 for an automobile collision that occurred on July 3, 2022.

The accident took place on 34th Street South where Payton Stockman was operating a 2018 Land Rover Range Rover. At the time of the accident, Lynn Lamberson was also driving her vehicle along the same street with Journey Lamberson as a passenger. The defendants are residents of Lee County while the plaintiffs reside in Pinellas County.

Lynn Lamberson alleges that Payton Stockman failed to operate his vehicle safely which resulted in a collision with her car. As a result of this negligence, she suffered permanent bodily injury, pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement and mental anguish among other damages. She also incurred costs related to hospitalization, medical care and treatment as well as loss of earnings.

The plaintiffs are seeking judgment against Payton Stockman for damages exceeding $50,000 plus costs of action and pre-judgment interest at the statutory rate for actual losses from the date of loss. They also demand attorney’s fees to the extent allowed by law and further request a trial by jury on all issues.
