Amanda Morrow has filed a collective action complaint against Agero, Inc. in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, Palm Beach County, Florida. The case number is 502024CA002275XXXAMB Div: AO and was filed on March 11, 2024. The lawsuit alleges that Agero violated the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) by failing to pay overtime compensation to its call center employees.

The plaintiff, represented by Shavitz Law Group, P.A., alleges that Agero regularly encouraged its Customer Account Representatives and other similarly classified employees to work more than 40 hours per week without proper compensation. This includes time spent before and after shifts as well as during unpaid meal breaks. Agero is said to have gross revenues exceeding $500,000 for all relevant periods herein.

In addition to herself, Morrow is also seeking justice for all current and former Collective Action Members who elect to opt into this action under the FLSA. The damages of these Collective Action Members meet the monetary jurisdictional minimum of the court.

Morrow seeks unpaid wages for all hours worked including those above 40 in a workweek as required by law, liquidated damages and/or prejudgment interest, and attorney’s fees and litigation expenses from Agero.
