Kaysone Romano sues Progressive Select Insurance Company for damages from an automobile accident

On February 26, 2024, a lawsuit was filed in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Pinellas County, Florida by plaintiff Kaysone Romano against Progressive Select Insurance Company. The case ID is 24-0009 13-Cl and it concerns a complaint for damages exceeding $50,000 related to an automobile accident.

The plaintiff's lawyer is Adam Bugg from Morgan & Morgan, P.A., Palm Harbor. The incident occurred on June 16, 2023 when Romano was driving at or near the intersection of 73RD AV N and DR MLK JR STN in Pinellas County. Non-party Kristoffer Clayton negligently operated his vehicle resulting in a collision with Romano's car.

Romano sustained bodily injuries including permanent impairment, disfigurement, pain and suffering among other losses. The defendant insurance company has allegedly denied coverage or refused to pay the full value of the claim.

Romano seeks judgment for damages, fees, costs, prejudgment interest and any other relief deemed appropriate by the court against Progressive Select Insurance Company. She also demands a jury trial on all issues that can be tried.
