Northstar Education Finance sues Daniel T. Dean for defaulting on student loans

Northstar Education Finance, Inc. has filed a lawsuit against Daniel T. Dean in the County Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, under case number 24-001960-CO on March 4, 2024. The plaintiff alleges that the defendant defaulted on two student loans provided under the Total Higher Education Loan Program.

The first loan was made on February 2, 2000, for an amount of $7,185 and the second loan was disbursed on June 20, 2000, totaling $17,836. Both loans were initially assigned to University National Bank and subsequently reassigned to Northstar subsidiaries before finally being assigned to Northstar Education Finance Inc.
