In the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, Ivan Farber has filed a lawsuit against Wanda Adams and Sharon Lile. The case, bearing the number 24-000984-Cl, was electronically filed on February 29, 2024. The complaint alleges negligence and vicarious liability resulting in bodily injury and other damages exceeding $50,000.

The plaintiff, Ivan Farber, represented by his counsel (not named), claims that on February 18, 2022, while driving a 2006 Chevy in Pinellas County, he was rear-ended by a 2014 Honda Odyssey driven by defendant Wanda Adams. The vehicle was owned by co-defendant Sharon Lile who had given express permission to Adams to operate it.

Farber accuses Adams of negligent operation of the vehicle leading to the collision. He alleges she failed to exercise due care or keep a proper lookout, drove at excessive speed for road conditions and was distracted or otherwise careless. As a result of this alleged negligence, Farber suffered bodily injury causing pain and suffering, mental anguish, disability and disfigurement.

Farber is seeking judgment for damages exceeding $50,000 from both defendants separately. From Adams for her alleged negligence in operating the vehicle causing his injuries; from Lile for vicariously being liable as she owned the vehicle involved in the accident.
