In the Circuit Court of the Second Judicial in and for Leon County, Florida, plaintiff Cassandra Black has filed a lawsuit against defendants Marika Wyche, Rodney Adams, and Yolandra Wyche. The case, identified as 2024 CA 000422, was filed on March 13, 2024, and seeks damages exceeding $50,000 for a car accident that occurred in Leon County.

The complaint alleges that on August 30, 2023, Black was a passenger in a vehicle owned by Yolandra Wyche and Rodney Adams and driven by Marika Wyche when it collided with a fence and subsequently a tree. All parties involved are residents of Tallahassee, Leon County. Represented by attorney Ryan B. Hobbs of Perry & Young P.A., Black claims that Marika Wyche's negligent operation of the vehicle led to her injuries.

Black asserts that she suffered permanent injury due to the accident. She accuses Marika Wyche of breaching her duty to operate the vehicle in a reasonably prudent manner and holds Rodney Adams and Yolandra Wyche vicariously liable as owners of the vehicle under Florida's dangerous instrumentality doctrine.

The plaintiff is seeking judgment against all defendants for all damages allowed by law along with prejudgment interest and costs of this action. She also demands trial by jury on all issues triable as a matter of right and law.
