In the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, Norma Myers has filed a lawsuit against Monica Neal-Brown. The case, numbered 24-0009 16-Cl and filed on February 26, 2024, seeks damages exceeding $50,000 for negligence and property damage resulting from a car accident.

Represented by an unnamed attorney, plaintiff Myers alleges that on July 4, 2022, defendant Neal-Brown negligently operated her vehicle causing a collision with Myers' car. The incident occurred at or near 1 Avenue North and 37 Street North in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida.

The lawsuit further details that as a direct result of Neal-Brown's negligence, Myers suffered serious bodily injury and aggravation of a preexisting condition leading to various losses including medical expenses and lost wages. Additionally, Myers' vehicle - a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox - sustained significant property damage leading to financial harm from repair costs and diminished value.

Myers is seeking compensation for her injuries and property damage along with any other legal and equitable relief deemed just by the court. She also demands a trial by jury on all triable issues.
