A Pennsylvania man says Royal Caribbean Cruises' travel protection program didn't live up to its promises.

Stephen Schuman filed his complaint in federal court against Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.

According to the complaint, Schuman was a passenger on Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas in December 2022. He says the company failed to fulfill its obligations under its travel protection program.

He says Royal Caribbean's travel protection program promises to protect customers from unexpected incidents during their trip. It claims to cover medical expenses and emergency transportation if a customer falls sick or gets injured during their vacation.

The complaint says these assurances were made available on Royal Caribbean's website and played a significant role in influencing his decision to purchase the services.

However, Schuman alleges the company did not live up to these promises when he needed them during his trip.
