Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Nicole Skellenger on her induction as a Fellow to the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys.
The Academy has more than 450 Fellows around the world who are attorneys, law professors and judges practicing adoption law, assisted reproductive technology (ART) law or both.
Admission to the Academy is a selective process that requires no less than five years of legal practice, at least 50 adoption or ART proceedings, a referral for admission by a current member and rigorous review for high ethical standards and competency by the Board of Trustees.
As counsel in Fox Rothschild’s Adoption & Family Formation Practice, Skellenger represents adoption agencies, prospective adoptive birth parents, intended parents and gestational carriers in a variety of legal matters related to family formation. She has represented agencies and individuals through all stages of the adoption process and is an authority in intercountry adoption agency compliance matters. A former executive director of an intercounty adoption agency and the founding board member of the Center for Excellence in Adoption Services, she regularly handles agency compliance, international adoption and domestic adoption matters.
She earned her J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and B.A. from Florida State University.
