FORT LAUDERDALE – Voltstar Technologies has filed a lawsuit against Motorola Mobility claiming patent infringement over several device charger products.
Plaintiff Voltstar Technologies filed the lawsuit in federal court against Motorola Mobility LLC, citing allegations of patent infringement.
According to court documents, Voltstar Technologies, Inc., based in Illinois, claims that Motorola Mobility LLC infringed upon its patent rights.
The lawsuit identifies two Motorola products specifically: the Motorola TurboPower 20 USB-C Wall Charger and the Motorola 15 W TurboPower Wireless Charging Pad. It alleges that these products infringe upon the patents owned by Voltstar related to charger plugs, energy-saving power adapters and chargers, and energy-saving cable assemblies.
Volstar is demanding a jury trial to seek various forms of relief, including damages, accounting, and injunctive relief. The plaintiff is represented in this case by attorneys Joel B. Rothman and Layla T. Nguyen from SRIPLAW, P.A. in Boca Raton.
