Carol Thorstad-Forsyth Appointed Vice Chair of AIPLA Membership Committee

Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Carol E. Thorstad-Forsyth, who was appointed by the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) board to a two-year term as Vice Chair of the Membership Committee.

In this role, Thorstad-Forsyth will work alongside the board to set strategic goals and establish initiatives aimed at expanding membership and increasing “active, meaningful participation by AIPLA members.”

A dedicated and long-standing member of AIPLA, Thorstad-Forsyth previously served as chair and vice-chair of the Women in IP Committee and is the former chair of the Women in IP Outreach Subcommittee.

Thorstad-Forsyth also founded and is the former co-chair of the AIPLA Cares Women in IP National Community Service Event, which establishes and strengthens relationships for women in the industry while helping those in need during the holiday season.

Thorstad-Forsyth, a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department, provides guidance on the protection of intellectual property to clients that include major defense contractors and market leaders in global communications, consumer goods and network/software solutions.

She earned her J.D. from the New England School of Law and her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Boston University.
