Morgan Lewis partner Alison Tanchyk has been named to the Latinvex Top Female Lawyers list for the fifth time. The list features the top 100 female lawyers specializing in Latin America matters among international law firms. Alison is listed in the FCPA & Fraud category.
In this 11th annual ranking, Latinvex considered female lawyers from 100 international law firms, ultimately selecting practitioners from 62 different firms based in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the Cayman Islands. The selection criteria includes lawyers’ recent track records on major deals and business, the prominence of their law firms in Latin America, and their rankings in guides published by Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500.
Alison handles government and internal investigations, complex civil litigation, and compliance and regulatory matters, with an emphasis on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), False Claims Act (FCA), fraud, and antitrust matters. Companies and individuals rely on her to defend against investigations involving allegations of corruption, anticompetitive conduct, and healthcare, tax, and securities fraud, and other business frauds.
Corporate leaders and boards also seek Alison’s counsel on matters related to developing, implementing, evaluating, and auditing internal compliance and ethics programs. She is co-chair of the Juncadella Corporate Counsel Group (JCCG), an informal organization of South Florida–based in-house counsel who primarily advise companies with business interests in Latin America and the Caribbean.
