Greenberg Traurig Miami Litigation Shareholder Enjoliqué A. Lett has been appointed to serve on the Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. board of directors. Lett will provide pro bono legal services and support the organization’s efforts to help members of Miami’s underserved communities.

Legal Services of Greater Miami provides free civil legal services for the low-income communities of Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. The nonprofit handles a variety of civil legal matters benefiting more than 20,000 individuals and families annually, recovering almost $2.6 million for clients in disability, unemployment, child support, and government benefits, according to the organization.

“As our Miami office pro bono coordinator, Enjoliqué has been a champion for helping those in need. This incredible opportunity is a testament to Enjoliqué’s skills and dedication to giving back to our community, and we could not be more proud of her for taking on this new role,” said Brigid F. Cech Samole, co-chair of the Miami Litigation Practice.

Lett leads bet-the-company litigation on behalf of manufacturers. She has worked as lead counsel in virtually all aspects of mass tort and multidistrict litigation and has substantial experience and background defending high-profile clients in complex commercial litigation.

Passionate about service where she works and lives, Lett devotes her time and efforts to professional organizations and to the community as a whole. She has served as the South Florida Chapter of the Federal Bar Association pro bono chair and as a DRI Products Liability Committee member, and mentors students at the University of Miami and Florida International University. She also mentors a former prisoner returning to society through a partnership with the Southern District of Florida’s Court Assisted Reentry Program. She serves as the Miami City co-lead for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, where she was a fellow in 2017.

“Legal Services of Greater Miami is an impactful organization within our Miami community, providing access to legal representation and removing the legal barriers that often stand in the way of receiving equitable treatment,” Lett said. “I look forward to serving on the board and providing a voice to those in need, which has always been a core value of our firm.”
