Effective October 1, Morgan Lewis partner Sergio Oehninger joins partner Alison Tanchyk as a co-chair of the Juncadella Corporate Counsel Group (JCCG), an informal organization of more than 300 South Florida–based in-house counsel who primarily advise companies with business interests in Latin America and the Caribbean. The group thanks Morgan Lewis partner John Crespo for his two years of service as co-chair.
The JCCG was founded in 1992 by the late Salvador “Chicho” Juncadella, a former Morgan Lewis international consultant, who was a very accomplished, highly respected lawyer with a career spanning 60 years. The principal purpose of the group is to provide corporate counsel with strategic opportunities for relationship-building, networking, sharing of best practices, and career advancement. In addition to Alison and Sergio’s leadership, Morgan Lewis supports the JCCG by hosting a majority of its regular programming in partnership with the University of Miami School of Law, including the 13th Bi-Annual Seminar for in-house counsel working in the Americas, scheduled for fall 2024.
