Carol Thorstad-Forsyth to Co-Chair New ChIPs Florida Chapter

Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Carol E. Thorstad-Forsyth, who will serve as Co-Chair of the newly launched Florida Chapter of ChIPs, a nonprofit organization that “advances and connects women in technology, law and policy.”

ChIPs, chiefs in intellectual property, has 6000 members across 28 chapters in the U.S., Canada, and Europe who actively participate in the “lawmaking, policymaking, judicial advocacy and innovation processes.”

Thorstad-Forsyth, a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice, provides guidance on the protection of intellectual property to clients that include major defense contractors and market leaders in global communications, consumer goods and network/software solutions.

A leader in the field, she also serves as Chair of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Women in IP Committee (WiIPC) and was previously Vice Chair.

Geneva Clark, Senior Counsel of IP and Contracts at Life Extension, will serve as Co-Chair alongside Thorstad-Forsyth.
