Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Christopher R. Callahan, who was named to the 2023 class of 40 Under 40 honorees by the South Florida Business Journal.

The annual list spotlights 40 exemplary professionals under the age of 40 based in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties “for their leadership, success in business and contributions to their communities.”

Co-Chair of the International Taxation & Wealth Planning Practice, Callahan provides wealth management and international tax planning advice to high-net-worth clients, funds and businesses. He develops cutting-edge tax strategies for his clients and handles a wide range of international taxation and wealth issues, including foreign pension planning and compliance for individuals and active companies with U.S. employees. He also offers advice regarding U.S. income and estate tax treaties and cross-border employment tax planning for publicly traded corporations, among others.

When asked by the South Florida Business Journal about his ultimate career goal, Callahan said, “I want to find new ways to use technology to make it easier and less expensive to provide high-quality international tax advice to more people.”

Named a leading tax attorney in Florida by Chambers USA, Callahan founded, and was the first participant in, the nation’s inaugural four-year Triple Degree Program at the University of Miami and has taught advanced international taxation in the University of Miami School of Law's LL.M. in Taxation Program. He currently serves as Director of the International Tax Division of the Florida Bar Tax Section and is spearheading the Tax Section’s Mental Health and Wellness Initiative.

He earned his LL.M. and J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, his M.B.A. from the University of Miami and his B.S. from Tulane University.
