Marshall Dennehey has been named a finalist in The American Lawyer Regional Litigation Departments of the Year awards in both New Jersey and Florida. Winners will be announced at Law.com’s annual awards gala in New York, NY on November 15, 2023.

“This accolade affirms the hard work, dedication to client service and litigation prowess of our New Jersey and Florida attorneys, and reflects positively on the entire firm,” said Marshall Dennehey President & CEO, G. Mark Thompson. “We couldn’t be more proud of our team.”

To be evaluated, firms had to submit seven litigation results from each jurisdiction, including one pro bono result, occurring during the contest time period of July 2021 to May 2023. Results were reported from the firm’s Mount Laurel and Roseland, New Jersey offices; and four offices in Florida, including Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa.

In announcing The American Lawyer Industry Awards and Litigation Department of the Year finalists, Editor-in-Chief, Gina Passarella Cipriani, wrote, “This year’s finalists represent the best of the best across all of what the profession holds dear. From excellence in legal acumen to excellence in legal service; from diversity and corporate purpose initiatives to mentoring and collaboration; from client service enhancements to technological innovation, these awards are meant to honor historic tenets of the profession along with its promise of continued evolution for the better. It is our great pleasure to honor these individuals, initiatives and institutions and continue to hold a light up to the great impact this industry can have on the world around it.”

Marshall Dennnehey’s Appellate, Professional Liability, and Health Care groups have previously been recognized as Litigation Departments of the Year by The Legal Intelligencer.
